The surgery department at Longmont United Hospital averages around 250 cases per month. We have six ORs performing surgery for general, ortho, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, plastics, neuro, thoracic and utilizing robotics. - Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases.
- Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.

May be responsible for coordinating the W/C program and activities designed to prevent, assess and treat work related injuries and hazardous exposures; facilitates case management of workers’ comp claims, files First Report of Injury after reviewing/investigating incidents. Reviews visit notes to coordinate back to work (work-related and non work-related)/light duty w/ managers and interacts w/ managers/HRD for associates who can't be released to work. Directs the activity of the Occupational Health Technician as needed. May involve travel or remote support for geographical team(s).
