The Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech works under the supervision of the surgeon and RN. Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. Assists in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.

The ICU department at Parker Adventist Hospital is a Specialty Level II Trauma unit and a Cardiac and Stroke Program Center of Excellence with 16 beds. We have a mixed acuity and service medical surgical ICU. The patient mix is mostly medical which covers anything from acute renal failure, sepsis, neuro surgical, trauma, stroke and heart attack patients. Our mission is to provide high quality service and care to our community. This department has a great culture of team work, with room to grow within the department, both personal and professional. After one year, associates can advance their professional certifications with the experience they have gained in our department. What is Enterprise Float Pool?
Our Enterprise Float Pool Level 2 team members have the opportunity to float to multiple units within a geographic group of hospitals, bringing their skills and expertise to a variety of units including Critical Care, ED, Surgical Services, Medical Surgical, Procedural, Women’s Services and Behavioral Health. This pool will provide additional support to supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.
Level 2 Enterprise Float Pool Pay and Benefits:
- Receive an additional $6.75/Hr. pool differential

This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs, vacations, and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay.
