May perform cardiac procedures as required by entity. - Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable”(ALARA).* Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timelymanner.  -  Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required. - Correctly inputs charges and required data for procedures and for supplies utilized during the procedure/exam. - Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.   This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). We are part of a small community hospital and fill the niche for step down and med/surg overflow with a variety of acuity patients on our floor, as well as cardiac cath recovery.
