Responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and overall operational management of physician services and medical staff administration. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officers for both St. Mary-Corwin and St. Thomas More to develop strategic plans, policies and address operational issues that build effective relationships between the hospital and its Medical Staff to produce excellence in clinical outcomes. Partners with the Chief Nursing Officer of each hospital to provide effective multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcome management and environments of quality and safety. Additional responsibilities include establishing and implementing standards and policies within each hospital and across hospitals to ensure quality of medical care. This role works closely with the Vice President Physician Executive Enterprise Clinical Care Transformation and Centura CME to meet Centura operating group and system-wide strategies, goals, objectives and standards. Services as the primary community resource to all hospital communities and provides advice and counsel to Centura administrators on medical and administration matters related to medical practice and current affairs.
