Primarily, we care for trauma patients with blunt abdominal/chest traumas after car accidents, falls, and mountain activities such as skiing, mountain biking and hiking injuries. We care for patients requiring mostly abdominal surgeries including appendectomies, colon resections, hernia repairs and serve as the overflow for orthopedic trauma patients including those with hip fractures and tib/fib fractures.   We care for cancer patients, administering chemotherapy and treating neutropenics, accounting for about 10% of our current patient load.
