Provides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures for both inpatients and outpatients through the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the safe operation of various types of imaging counting and computer equipment. Maintains accurate records of radioactive materials from receipt through administration and disposal. The surgery department at Longmont United Hospital averages around 250 cases per month. We have six ORs performing surgery for general, ortho, ophthalmology, urology, ENT, plastics, neuro, thoracic and utilizing robotics. We primarily care for adult populations and do not have overflow from other departments.
