The OB Post-Partum department at St. Catherine Hospital consists of 12 LDRP, one triage, one OR suite, four pediatric rooms and seven open bay NICU Level II rooms. This consists of three different units: L&D, pediatrics and NICU. We treat pregnant women, pediatric patients from two to 17 days, 32 weeks gestational to 40 weeks for NICU. This department is desirable as it is a rural, main hub, where caregivers get to see and do almost anything. We are very hands-on when taking care of patients. Candidates are welcome who are flexible and passionate about patient care. Candidates must be willing to help in other departments depending on our census. Our department is great for growing your skill and helping you on your career journey.

The Emergency Department at St. Catherine Hospital has eight beds with a possible run over for eight more beds, we treat all ED patients. We also do outpatient care in the afternoons as needed. Here, we see traumas, chest pain, strokes, sepsis and all other medical patients. Our mission is to treat others how you would like to be treated. This is a desirable department since we have a set schedule, are rural and tend to get some very interesting cases. We have a behavioral health inpatient unit and take care of a lot of behavioral health patients. In our department, we look for dependable team players.

The Emergency Department at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center is a Level III trauma center, with specialized ortho trauma care. We also provide excellent stroke, STEMI, and sepsis care, consistently meeting benchmarks. We have a comprehensive forensic nurse examiner program and that team works closely with the ED team to consult on all intentional trauma. Our patient mix is ortho trauma, cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, substance abuse, pediatric illness and trauma. We do not get overflow from other departments. Day to Day duties:
- Circulate and/or Scrub on CVOR/ Heart team cases.
- One specialized team for Cardiac, all Associates are cross-trained for all other services. Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
- Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases.
- Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.
17 OR Suites including 1 trauma room, a hybrid Room, Designated CVOR and a Cystoscopy Suite
Approx. 550-650+ cases per month
Schedule: This is an on-call-based position.
On call commitment. Call shifts starts on Saturday 0700-Monday 0730 and one call shift during the week night 1900-0730. Position is compensated at 38 hours a week whether called in or not; with a 30 min call-back radius required. Full time benefits apply. Candidates must commit to 61 hours of on call during the week and sign the on call commitment memo of expectations.

The Facility Based Clinical Educator assumes accountability and responsibility for provision of professional development to positively influence the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care. Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a program of education at the facility level.Programming includes coordination of orientation on units, ongoing staff competency as well as continued education at the unit and/or facility level as identified by needs assessments, audits, data informed decision making and regulatory requirement initiatives. Applies policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate to their populations. The scope of the education will be determined through collaborative practice with leadership, educators, and providers to enhance the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care; assumes the role of an educator, facilitator, consultant, researcher and change agent. Works closely with the Enterprise Clinical Educator to align with annual education initiatives, clinical orientation, and other enterprise initiatives. This position reports centrally at the enterprise level to the Enterprise Director for Clinical Education.
