Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up of instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical cases and passing items to surgeons and nurses as needed. Assists in preparing and moving patients and sterilizing and cleaning instruments, equipment and rooms.   Day to Day duties: - Scrub on all cases. - Primarily, Ortho (Trauma/Totals/ Sports Medicine), Spine, Neuro, GEN, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Bariatric, Cancer care, robotic surgeries (DaVinci XI), Brain Surgery and more. - Associates are cross trained for all services. - Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. - Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day’s cases. - Maintain Sterile field during procedures. - Handing instruments to surgeons, anticipating surgeon’s needs. - Maintaining and updating preference cards. 14 OR Suites Approx. 450-500+ cases per month   Schedule- Part-time, days- 2 x 12hr shifts Sat , Sun- 7a-7p   Scheduling is done by Managers every 6 weeks   No Call!    Weekend option is a 6 month (13 pay periods) commitment for weekend shifts (shifts between-Fri 7p and Mon7a) Hours worked between defined 'weekend shifts' will receive an additional $10 differential to base rate.

You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.   Day to Day duties: - Circulate and/or Scrub on all cases. - Primarily, GEN, Ortho (Totals/ Trauma), Sports Medicine. Spine, Bariatrics, Neuro, OB/GYN, ENT, Urology, Plastics. - Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. - Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day’s cases. - Maintaining Sterile field during procedures. - Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery. 14 OR Suites Approx. 500+ cases per month   Schedule: Full Time - Days- 40hrs/ week- Variable Shifts per surgical volume and unit needs Call Required: 2-6 Call shifts per 6 week schedule with variance of weekday and weekend call shifts. 30 Min Callback Radius required
