Call is in addition to regularly scheduled hours. We schedule cases Monday-Friday 0730-1930. Nights, weekends, and holidays are call shifts for urgent/emergent cases. We try to work with staff but will meet the needs of the department to cover. ALL shifts are subject to change depending on department volume. The 0600 shifts float the most. Our staff will do either PACU or GI Call depending on skill set. Preop # beds: 12 rooms PACU # beds: 19 bays (split, 10 North PACU, 9 South PACU) Cases/day (average): about 20 surgeries, 10 GI, and 20 Pain Clinic / Day

Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment. - Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
