The Emergency Department at Parker Adventist Hospital has 27 treatment spaces, four of which are low acuity or results pending and 4 are psych safe rooms and three are high acuity/trauma rooms. We see about 80-90 patients a day at our Level II trauma center. Our patients are a mix of ED/trauma cases, mid acuity ED pts, psych patients and a small amount of low acuity. RNs will orient to all areas of the ED but will need to be in the department for a year to work in triage. In the ED teamwork is key and pts are spread among nurses based on volume and acuity. We all work together as a team to ensure the pts get the highest quality care. Our department has a positive culture and expect positivity from all team members. We have a Unit Based Counsel that brings ideas and facilitates team-based projects to improve workflow and the environment. Job Summary
Provides leadership and accountability in the daily operations of the perioperative departments. This

The Regional Medical Director is responsible to provide clinical and managerial health care leadership, problem-solve, communicate and strategically plan the development of the medical staff and clinic. The Regional Medical Director is also responsible to confirm compliance of medical staff with all state and federal requirements. The Regional Medical Director interacts with the corresponding Clinic Administrator and Assistant Administrator, the CHPG Chief Medical Officer, and the facility administration. Drives cost efficiencies across assigned region.

Porter's 33-bed Emergency Department is an accredited Level III Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and is staffed with board-certified emergency physicians, and critically trained nurses. Porter's ED specializes in treatment of complex medical illness, injuries including trauma, stroke, sepsis, and cardiovascular emergencies. The ED has implemented many patient care improvement initiatives including excellence in behavioral health, direct-to-Cath Lab, and nurse-driven geriatric trauma protocols.
