Recent increase to compensation
Centura Health announces a $66 million investment in our associates to ensure everyone receives a fair, just and livable wage. In Colorado, Centura’s living wage will increase to $17 an hour (in Summit County, the increase is to $17.50 an hour). In western Kansas, it will increase to $15 an hour. “Working at Centura is more than a mere doing; it is, above all, an individual and collective mission,” said Peter D. Banko, our President & Chief Executive Officer. “During this pandemic, housing costs, living expenses, a rapidly evolving employment landscape and an extremely competitive job market have profoundly impacted our people, their family and our healing ministry. Today, it is paramount that we significantly invest in all our caregivers who have worked so tirelessly and compassionately on the front lines to provide whole person care to every community, every neighborhood and every individual.”
Join us in keeping our caregivers, our patients and our communities safe by receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. All Centura Health associates, contractors, volunteers and students in Colorado and Kansas are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (or provide a valid medical and/or religious exemption) regardless of facility or position held, in order to comply with Centura’s COVID-19 policy and our mission to nurture the health of the people in our communities. Individuals must receive their first COVID-19 dose by September 30th, 2021, and the second dose no later than Oct. 31st, 2021. New associates hiring on or after Oct. 31st, 2021 must have full vaccination prior to beginning employment or be able to provide a valid medical and/or religious exemption.
