Qualified external applicants with direct clinical experience are eligible for up to a $7,500 sign on bonus!  The bonus will be taxed per IRS regulations.  Additional relocation bonus may apply based on geographical location.  Must be hired into a full-time or part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible.  Some exclusions may apply.

Promotes improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department. Performs routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment. Maintains records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified. Facilitates awareness and understanding around what is at stake with patients in the OR. Facilitates the department's preparation of staff to pass survey/regulatory assessments.

Hours:  12:00pm - 10:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:30pm

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  

• 6 months of experience, preferred
• Computer skills, required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or transfer
• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required

Physcial Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
