Centura Health values its incredible CNAs and want to ensure they practice at top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We’ve also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The CNA provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Six months previous CNA experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program preferred
  • State registered CNA license required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Fully accredited by The Joint Commission every year since 1954, St. Elizabeth Hospital is a 50-bed acute-care hospital with a Level III Trauma Center and a 24-hour Emergency Room. Since our beginning, it’s been our mission to meet the needs of the people we serve in a compassionate, quality-oriented manner and to provide customer-friendly care in partnership with our community, physicians and staff. Acute care is at the heart of what we do at St. Elizabeth Hospital. We combine patient-centered care with modern  technology and medical expertise to treat a wide range of medical conditions. As a nationally recognized Chest Pain Center, we have the ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack, which is the leading cause of death among men and women in the U.S. 

 

St. Elizabeth, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level III Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care through out the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region’s referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. While recently becoming apart of Centura, St. Elizabeth has been in the community since 1952 and has been living out its mission since day one. St. Elizabeth resides in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages.
