**$400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties.  Must work at least 80% physically on-site at a Centura facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible).  More details available upon offer.**

$19.05 - $27.17/hr

Promotes improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department. Performs routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment. Maintains records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified. Facilitates awareness and understanding around what is at stake with patients in the OR. Facilitates the department's preparation of staff to pass survey/regulatory assessments.

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  

• 6 months of experience, preferred
• Computer skills, required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or transfer
• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required

Physcial Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
