Pay Range

$30.25 - $44.34/hr

Centura Health is proud to invest in career development by offering residency programs to new and experienced techs  into the Cardiac Cath lab and EP environments utilizing a blended learning program called Cath Lab Academy and EP Academy. This program consists of real-world context and active learning incorporating 12 weeks of structured clinical orientation with integration into practice and an ongoing mentoring program throughout the first year of practice. Cardiovascular lab techs, surgical techs, and radiology techs are welcome to apply.


The Cardiovascular Lab Specialist Residency Program Fall 2021 Cohort begins on:

November 29, 2021

  • Positions are full-time and benefits eligible
  • Combination of days, evenings, nights and weekends/holidays may be required
  • Due to the pre-planned curriculum, time off requests during the first 12 weeks may not be approved

What You Bring/Job Requirements

Position Summary:

Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies


In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:


Preferred Experience:

Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred


Education Requirements:

A graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or graduate of a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology



Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association

Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or RRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through the ARRT

Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire


Physical Requirements: 

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
